Career

Stefano Grilli is Professor of international tax law at the University Bicocca of Milan. He focuses on corporate tax as well as on the tax aspects of M&A and of "debt and equity capital market" transactions  (IPOs, asset finance transactions, structured finance products and derivatives). He advises domestic and multinational companies in corporate taxation, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, transfer pricing issues and indirect taxes. In addition, in the course of his professional working life, he has also gained extensive experience in relation to tax litigation issues.

Education

Stefano graduated from the University “Luigi Bocconi” of Milan and was awarded a Masters degree (Adv. LL.M) in International Taxation from the International Tax Centre - Leiden University (Netherlands) where he currently lectures on European Union tax law and double tax treaty law. He holds a Ph.D. on International and European Tax Law from the University of Bergamo.
