Georg Zondler is frequently entrusted with litigation before state courts and arbitration tribunals for domestic and foreign clients. In this capacity, he deals in particular with matters involving commercial and banking law. Georg Zondler is co-head of the Financial Services practice group at Wenger & Vieli Ltd.

In addition, Georg Zondler regularly advises clients in the field of debt collection and bankruptcy law and represents clients at all stages of insolvency proceedings or acts as administrator/liquidator for insolvent companies.

Georg Zondler also has broad experience in the field of corporate law, in particular in handling complex cases of liability actions and contract law issues.

The insolvency department at Wenger & Vieli LTD focuses on contentious matters for creditors, debtors and banks, as well as international restructuring actions. Pascal Honold assists P & R Equipment & Finance Corp with the restructuring of its business in Switzerland as a consequence of the insolvency of the German group companies. Georg Zondler represents a Swiss supplier in the insolvency proceedings of kitchen manufacturer Bruno Piatti.   • Swiss Capital Contribution Principle

    As per 1 January 2011 a new regulation in the Swiss tax law concerning the tax treatment of the repayment of capital contributions enters into force. According to the new rules the repayment of capital contributions is exempt from Swiss income tax (if the shares are owned as private means) and Swiss withholding tax.
