De Pardieu Brocas Maffei fields three dedicated EU and French competition partners as well as Barbara Levy, who specialises in distribution and IP matters. Especially noted for its contentious antitrust practice, the group also recently handled high-profile merger clearance mandates, state aid issues, and pricing and product regulation matters. Philippe Guibert heads the department and recently teamed up with Emmanuel Durand to notify the FCA of the acquisition of Unilever's baking and dessert business in France by Dr Oetker. Levy acted for Valeo before the Paris Court of Appeal in a claim against an Iranian company regarding a supply disruption. Laëtitia Gavoty Tolot was recently promoted to counsel and collaborated with Guibert to advise Batipart as shareholder of Eurosic on the latter's sale of 94.8% of its share capital to Gecina and the associated antitrust elements.
