Position

Filippo works on complex transactions side-by-side with leading Italian and international industrial groups, banks, and insurance companies as well as the leading institutions in Italy. Filippo has unique know-how in terms of managing major cross-border M&A transactions both inbound and outbound in the Italian market, assisting all of the actors involved – purchasers, sellers, majority shareholders, financing banks, third parties – and communicating with management and leadership teams.

Joined the Firm in 1997 and became a Partner in 2005. He has been the Managing Partner of the Firm since 2015.

Corporate and M&A head Francesco Tedeschini is ‘great at conducting international negotiations’; private equity head Luigi Vaccaropossesses all the crucial skills’; and Carlo Croff is widely respected. Other names to note are Stefano Mazzotti, Franco Agopyan, Umberto Borzi. Luca Fossati, Luca Andrea Frignani, Antonio Sascaro and Enrico Giordano.
