Position
Vastly experienced acting on corporate deals in the real estate sector. In the last year he led the team in Moyallen’s acquisition of the Peacocks Centre, Woking. The centre was valued at £116m and was the largest property acquisition completed in the retail sector last year. He also acted for JP Morgan in the acquisition of a retail park in Dundee and for SPT in the acquisition of a company holding significant land interests in part of the site for the Glasgow Airport Rail link. He was formerly group counsel of the Stannifer Group of companies and acted in the financing of the privatisation of Chelsfield plc. Regularly acts for clients and lenders in creating structures for the financing of real estate projects and has particular experience in areas such as joint ventures and the other other partnership and offshore arrangements which have become so integral to property development.
