During 2013/14 there have been a number of partner promotions including: Jonathan Guy (commercial litigation); Adele Nicol and Sheonagh Richards (land resources); Barry Nichol (employment); Chris Richardson (commercial real estate); Carole Tomlinson (private client) and Catriona Watt (healthcare and regulatory). A number of significant appointments have been made including: Sara Jalicy, head of residential property, who joined the firm from Balfour and Manson; Colin Young who joined the corporate team in Glasgow from Morisons LLP; Alister Aitkenhead formerly of Morisons LLP who joined the private client team in Glasgow; Jennifer Long who joined the family law division from Turcan Connell; and Robin Beattie, also from Turcan Connell, who has joined the land resources team.
