Position

Partner. Morten specialises in international financial law matters and has extensive experience in all aspects of finance law, including acquisition financing, syndicated loan agreements, mezzanine financing, guarantees and collateral security, bond issues and structured products. He assists Danish and international financial undertakings in their capacity as lenders and Danish and international companies/private equity funds in their capacity as borrowers in many high profile transactions. Morten was previously employed at the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority and advises on the regulatory environment for financial undertakings and their products, as well as the setting up of financial undertakings and branches of foreign financial undertakings.

Bech-Bruun’s ‘efficient’ team provides ‘an extremely high level of service’ covering matters including asset finance, acquisition finance and regulatory work. ‘Service-minded’ practice head Morten Krogsgaard advised HSH Nordbank on financing of the Vandel photovoltaic project. David Moalem has been advising a number of Danish financial institutions regarding the implementation of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFiD II) and the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFIR). The team also includes Thomas Thordal Sevelsted and Steen Jensen.
