Partner. Jacob Hjortshøj is an expert in M&A transactions, company law, stock exchange law and public offers. He has extensive experience in business transfers and private equity, and he has advised an impressive number of Danish and international corporates, private equity funds and investment banks on M&A transactions. Over the past few years, Jacob has assisted as team leader in transactions in respect of companies such as Euro Cater, Dagrofa, MissionPharma, Bladt Industries, NKT Flexibles, inco Danmark, Dyrup, Glud & Marstrand, Aalborg Industries, Superfos, KMD, Kommunekemi, Rosti, Codan Gummi, Sonion, Stryhn’s, BabySam, Logstor, Disa, Unifeeder, Tholstrup Cheese, the NEG Micon – Vestas merger and Roulunds. Jacob has always valued professionalism highly and is the chairman of the advisory group on corporate law under the Association of Danish Law Firms and the secretary of the Danish Association for Company Law. Furthermore, he has also worked as an external lecturer in Company Law at the University of Copenhagen for ten years and is a regular teacher in the auspices of Danish Bar and Law Society.
