Position

Partner in Arntzen de Besche's Employment law practice group. He has wide experience in counselling and litigation within the field of employment law, pension law, and mergers and acquisitions. Dalheim is admitted to the Supreme Court, and has participated in a number of large litigation cases and has appeared in front of the Supreme Court, the Labour Court of Norway, district courts, courts of appeal as well as appeared in arbitration matters. Dalheim has considerable experience with employment issues related to restructuring. During the last years he has assisted a number of large Norwegian corporations with their restructuring activities including de-merger of business areas, take-overs and mergers. Dalheim has been project manager for large restructuring processes related to business take-overs in co-operation with law firms in other Scandinavian countries. Dalheim frequently gives presentations and lectures about employment law issues. Publications: Norwegian Seaman's law (2008), The Seaman's act and the act on Norwegian International Ship register, Arbeidsrett Vol 2 (2008), Commentary to the Norwegian Working Environment act (2006), Temporary employment, Arbeidsrett Vol 4 (2006).
