Areas of practice

Arntzen de Besche has acquired extensive experience in transactions and dispute settlements on an international scale. This includes international contracts and contract negotiations within a wide range of business areas, corporate law aspects of establishing companies and operations abroad, international tax legislation, acquisitions, mergers and financing, as well as general representation of foreign branches and subsidiaries in Norway. In recent years, the firm has expanded its activity of advising governments in oil and gas producing countries in Asia and Africa, in particular with regard to legislation, government and corporate organisation and governance, environmental and contractual matters.
