About Arendt & Medernach

Arendt & Medernach is the leading independent business law firm in Luxembourg. The firm’s international team of more than 300 legal professionals represents Luxembourg and foreign clients in all areas of Luxembourg business law from its head office in Luxembourg and its foreign offices in Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Moscow, New York and Paris.

The firm strives for excellence in order to achieve the best results for clients and always looks for creative solutions. Its specialised practice areas allow it to offer a complete range of Luxembourg legal, tax and regulatory services tailored to the client’s individual needs across all areas of business law.

Our capabilities in U.S

Arendt & Medernach was established in 1988 through the merger of two Luxembourg law firms, Arendt & Harles and Mersch & Medernach. As part of this business development, Arendt & Medernach decided to open its first representative office in New York in 2005 to be closer to its North American clients and their advisors.

With its New York office, Arendt & Medernach not only manages to bridge the time zone gap between Europe and the US, but most importantly also contributes to bridging a cultural gap through proximity and its ability to experience market trends first-hand and better understand the needs of clients. The New York office has operational capabilities for transactional, fund formation and tax matters.
