The professional and financial risks team at DAC Beachcroft LLP provides 'excellent technical and commercial knowledge, good value for money and successful outcomes'. The 'established and well-respected' practice represents insured companies across a range of industries. It was instructed by Liberty Mutual Insurance to advise a firm of insurance brokers in a £6m claim resulting from declined cover of the fire at a waste recycling plant. Duncan Greenwood led a team in this matter successfully settling at less than 10% of the original claim value. David Weatherburn heads the group which includes the 'intelligent and capable' Suzanne Wharton and 'very bright, thoughtful, diligent and conscientious' senior associate Naomi Park. Other clients include First Title Insurance, Countrywide plc and Zurich Professional & Financial Lines.

Mills & Reeve LLP is 'one of the leading firms for professional negligence in the area'. The team has the ability to 'handle the biggest and best cases with a human touch' and frequently represents legal professionals in addition to individuals in other sectors including construction, tech, finance, insurance and life science. The 'very experienced and commercially sensible' Neil Howes heads the practice and is praised for his 'legal expertise' and 'excellent judgement'. Howes acted for Pen Underwriting concerning a claim against a firm of solicitors regarding a purchase of a cinema complex which alleged a duty of care was owed to another firm of solicitors involved in the transaction. The professional and financial disputes group at Clyde & Co LLP is highlighted for its 'first-rate service' and is frequently instructed by insurers, such as AIG, Hiscox and QBE.
