  • Representing the health board in Agarwal v (1) Cardiff University (2) Cardiff & Vale University Local Health Board, the leading authority about an Employment Tribunal's jurisdiction to hear cases involving deductions from an employee's wages, where there is a dispute about the contractual terms on which the employer considers it is entitled to make such deductions.
  • Advised a number of housing associations in Wales in relation to the provision, interpretation and applicability of Schedule 1 of the Housing Act 1996 and Welsh Government guidance RSL005/10, which prohibits certain payments to employees/officers and sets out a number of rules in relation to appointment of staff and grants of benefits.
