Group head Hans Andréasson at Mannheimer Swartling advised Yello Strom on the divestment of its Swedish operation. Per Molander, who assisted E.ON, Fortum, Söderenergi, Norrenergi, Universal Wind and Universal Power with permits for power plants, and Bo Hansson are ‘experienced, straightforward and excellent in court’. Jan Dernestam, Henrik Diefke and Mikael Wärnsby advise on energy, electricity, natural gas and oil trading as well as oil storage and emissions trading under the EU ETS.

Advokatfirman Vinge provides ‘quick, correct advice and value for money’. Ingela Malmborg and Mathias Lindquist in Malmö are representing Cementa in the Supreme Court. Johan Göthberg advised Industrikraft on its €10bn joint venture with Vattenfall to build a new nuclear power plant. Foyen Advokatfirma KB advises Vattenfall, Swedegas and German-French nuclear power plant contractor Areva. Mikael Westin is recommended.

At Gernandt & Danielsson Advokatbyrå, Anders Wallén and Dick Lundqvist assisted E.ON Ruhrgas, Statoil, DONG Energy Oil & Gas and Fortum Heat and Gas with their divestment of Swedegas. Wallén advised renewable energy giant Statkraft on its acquisition of a majority stake in wind power company Södra Vindkraft and the subsequent joint venture.

Setterwalls’ Anders Linnerborg who joined from Lindahl and Elisabeth Månson in Malmö assisted Arise Windpower with permit applications for 300 land-based windmills.

von lode advokat AB’s ‘efficient, business-like’ team led by Torbjörn Claeson advised AGA Gas on Sweden’s first regasification plant for liquified natural gas (LNG). Maria Hagberg represents the Swedish Energy Agency.

At Wistrand, Rudolf Laurin represented Göteborg Energi in contract negotiations in relation to the GoBiGas project, while ‘responsive, good listener’ Kristina Forsbacka advised the Swedish Energy Agency. Other key clients include Triventus and Partille Energi.
