At Setterwalls, ‘proactive, attentive and responsive’ practice head Johan Hallén and Fredrik Roos advised IKEA IT on a multi-sourcing project. Håkan Fohlin advised DEKRA on establishing in Sweden. Marc Tullgren is recommended.

White & Case Advokat AB’s responsive team ‘understands clients’ needs and gives good advice’, handling domestic and cross-border corporate mandates for clients including Nycomed Group, EQT Funds and Coca-Cola.

Ashurst’s Martin Börresen and Pontus Bergsten advised Sandvik on two joint ventures with Carpenter Technology. The team was bolstered by recruiting Mikael Klang from Roschier and Erica Hegerin from Linklaters LLP. Mat Hansson was promoted to partner.

Rickard Poppelman leads Bird & Bird’s corporate group, and Jim Runsten leads the international commercial practice. Clients include Northland Resources, Flexenclosure, BrainHeart Capital, Talentum Oyj and RebTel. The team added Fredrik Ahlesten from CapGemini and Tim Boström from Baker & McKenzie Advokatbyra.

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton is ‘strong in negotiations’ relating to transactions, structuring and asset portfolio management. Olle Jansson joined from Advokatfirman Cederquist. Clients include Newsec Asset Management and Fortum. Sören Druve represents AT&T and Kraft Foods.

Peter Högström’s team at Lindahl advises Ford Group, Latour, Yamaha Motors and Trygg Hansa. Peter Lilja is recommended.

MAQS Law Firm’s 20-partner group is ‘quick, and has strong business knowledge’, and handles cross-border contract negotiations and corporate structures. New clients include Philips, Valora Trade and Sephora. The team was strengthened by the addition of Jürgen Conzen from Gärde Wesslau Advokatbyrå.

Wistrand’s ‘technically skilled and experienced lawyers provide concise advice’. Stockholm-based Magnus Forssman, Gothenburg-based Per Dalemo and Mattias Boqvist, and Malmö-based Kristian Lundius represent clients including Copenhagen Malmö Port, Toshiba Medical, and Mint of Finland.

Magnus Andrén heads Eversheds’ team, which represents US multinationals Tyco and Boeing, and Swedish clients including Sectra. Ulf Jonsson and Bertil Brinck are recommended.

G Grönberg Advokatbyrå AB’s Mats Jansson and Anders Hedman ‘combine legal advice with a strong business sense’.
