DL Corporate & Regulatory acts for a mix of domestic and international clients and is often referred work by major global law firms. The team has expertise in a range of practice areas, including corporate, banking, real estate, shipping and sport. Founding partner Remi Delforge has a good reputation for financial regulatory advice.

With offices in Monaco and Nice, Donald Manasse Law Offices is a popular choice for clients with interests in France, where it regularly handles litigation and commercial matters. The firm is referred work by major US and UK firms, and acts for a range of clients, including Olivier Piot Nova-Capital and Monacair. Law Offices of Jean-Charles S. Gardetto is often a first choice for foreign lawyers seeking Monégasque legal advice. According to one client, Jean-Charles Gardetto is the ‘best commercial lawyer in Monaco’ and is ‘very switched on’, providing ‘punchy advice’. The firm is recommended for contentious and non-contentious corporate, real estate, construction, banking, employment and IP matters.

PCM Avocats is one of the largest full-service firms in the market. Its strong corporate finance practice is led by ‘extremely dedicated’ managing partner Olivier Marquet. The ‘creative, proactive and service-oriented’ firm has been active advising banks on their activities in Monaco; in one highlight, it acted for Credit Suisse on the sale of its Monaco entity. The firm also has a strong debt recovery practice and regularly assists banks in this space too. Sophie Marquet stands out for her ‘knowledge of international law’, real estate and employment advice.

A.L.F.A. (Associated Legal & Fiscal Advisors) is a Monégasque firm with a good reputation for banking and financial services advice, real estate matters and shipping law. The firm is active for a range of foreign law firms and domestic clients. Jean-Pierre Campana and Mireille Chauvet are the names to note.

Tempest Legal Services has a strong reputation for corporate, banking, regulatory and real estate advice. UK-qualified founding partner William Easun is recommended.

The ‘excellent and very professionalZabaldano Avocat Defenseur handles a range of contentious and non-contentious matters for clients, including corporate, construction and real estate law. According to one client, it is ‘among the very best trial lawyer firms in Monaco’. Arnaud Zabaldano, who heads a multi-disciplinary team, is a member of the Monaco Bar and ‘very good on Monaco legal procedure’. The team advised the British Arab Commercial Bank on two separate business loans worth €15m and €20m respectively.
