The highly rated Edward DeBono heads Fenech & Fenech Advocates’ well-established general litigation department, with Ann Fenech leading an ‘excellent’ marine litigation team.

Mamo TCV Advocates’ contentious practice includes commercial disputes, insurance and property litigation, and debt collection. The firm provides arbitration and mediation services as an alternative to traditional litigation.

Leading contentious practice Refalo & Zammit Pace Advocates is highly regarded in the field. The firm excels in international arbitration, and has experience representing clients before the European courts. Ian Refalo is considered a leading litigator in Malta.

Leading commercial firm Camilleri Preziosi Advocates deals with complex litigation for its corporate clients. The firm has particular expertise in general civil, commercial and company law matters, and shipping and construction disputes. Mediation is an area of growing importance for the practice, and Louis de Gabriele is chairman of the Malta Mediation Centre.

Best known for its criminal law work, Emmanuel Mallia & Associates also has expertise in insurance claims litigation, and works across all areas of dispute resolution.

GVTH Advocates handles dispute resolution work for its corporate client base, and has strong expertise in insurance claims. The firm also handles IP litigation.

Ganado & Associates has four lawyers dedicated to litigation, with a focus on maritime and commercial litigation. The firm is also developing its alternative dispute resolution and arbitration practice.
