It advised on the creation of the European Financial Stability Facility, which is backed by €440bn of sovereign guarantees, and works extensively for the European Committee for Interoperable Systems. The firm also serves as a strategic partner of the World Economic Forum. Oliver Bretz heads the team, while former practice head Michael Smyth CBE acts as a consultant. It is currently advising the Health Professions Council on the coalition government’s health reforms. Jonathan Bracken heads the team, and Robbie Owen is also recommended.

It is currently providing Amazon with general public affairs support. Mike Pullen heads the team. Hogan Lovells International LLP’s ‘first-rate’ team provides a ‘comprehensive range of expertise’. It is advising the Managed Funds Association on the EU short-selling proposal. It also advises the APPG on extraordinary rendition matters. Practice head Paul Dacam ‘knows what legislation will mean “on the ground”’. Partner Richard Welfare, of counsel Charles Brasted, and associate Jamie Potter are also recommended.
