Jaunius Gumbis heads Lawin’s industry and regulatory group, which has an excellent reputation in litigation and advisory matters. The team is advising telecoms companies TEO and Omnitel on regulatory matters and in litigation against the Lithuanian Association of National Betting Operators. Pfizer and Novartis are longstanding clients.

Raidla Lejins & Norcous has an impressive record advising major pharmaceuticals companies, such as Merck & Co, Eli Lilly and Bayer, as well as contract research organisations on regulatory issues. Lead partner Žilvinas Kvietkus also advises local media and technology companies, and recently represented pan-Baltic mobile operator Bitė on its dispute against Tele2 and Omnitel.

Baltic Legal Solutions Lithuania is very active in the telecoms and TV industries. Gediminas Lisauskas regularly advises the Lithuanian Cable Television Association and also recently acted for Mikrovisatos TV during its takeover by Viginta.     One can witness an increase in the volume and complexity of trademark cases in Lithuania during the past few years. Bad faith is one of the most interesting and, probably, the most complicated issue that Lithuanian courts as well as Lithuanian State Patent Bureau1 have recently discussed in a number of their rulings.
