The Guernsey government has recently approved the introduction of specific Bailiwick of Guernsey legislation to allow celebrities, sports professionals and other media personalities to register and protect their identity in Guernsey. The proposed legislation will make Guernsey the first jurisdiction in the world to offer a registered image right.
