The Collective Investment Funds (Certified Funds – Prospectuses) Order 2012 (the "CFPO") was made on 17 May 2012. The CFPO amends the regulation of Certified Fund prospectuses. Once it comes into force on 17 November 2012, then subject to transitional arrangements, all prospectuses for Certified Funds must comply with the content requirements of the CFPO irrespective of the type of fund vehicle that is used or whether the fund is open-ended or closed-ended.
