BonelliErede’s scope of practice includes corporate and M&A deals, competition law, IP issues, taxation and real estate finance. High-profile deals included advising Kering Group on the €65m sale of Italian luxury shoemaker Sergio Rossi to private equity group, Investindustrial. On the buy- side, the team acted for Tod’s, the Italy-based shoemaker and leather goods group, on the €530m acquisition of luxury brand, Roger Vivier, and Roger Vivier Paris.

Bird & Bird advises well-known retail and consumer goods brands, including high-street retailers, luxury brands, and food and beverage businesses. The team assisted L’Oréal with the opening of a new shop for the NYX Cosmetics brand. Stefano Silvestri is a member of the firm’s retail and consumer sector group steering committee.

The team recently advised Carlyle on the acquisition of a controlling interest in Dutch lingerie brand, Hunkemöller.
