Anti-Dumping Duties

GOI has imposed the anti-dumping duties against the dumping of certain products in the Indian market as per the details provided below:

a.             Anti-dumping duty has been extended upto and inclusive of September 1, 2012 on the imports of Caustic Soda originating in, or exported from, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Japan, USA and France at the specified rates;

b.            Anti-dumping duty has been continued on the imports of Silk fabrics 20-100 grams per metre originating in, or exported from, People's Republic of China at the rate varying from USD 1.82-7.59 per meter for a period of five years applicable from date of notification i.e. January 13, 2012;

c.             Anti-dumping duty has been continued on the imports of Nylon Filament Yarn originating in, or exported from, People's Republic of China ("China"), Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, Thailand and People's Republic of Korea ("Korea RP") at the specified rate, for a period of five years from date of notification i.e., January 13, 2012;

d.            Anti-dumping duty has been continued on the imports of Cellophane Transparent Film (CTF) originating in, or exported from, People's Republic of China, at the rate 1.95 USD per kilogram for a period of five years applicable from date of notification i.e. January 13, 2012;

e.             Anti-dumping duty has been continued to be levied on the imports of Saccharin originating in, or exported from, People's Republic of China, at the rate USD of 2.69 per kilogram for a period of five years applicable from date of notification i.e. January 13, 2012;

f.             Anti-dumping duty has been imposed on imports of Morpholine originating in or exported from China, European Union and the United States of America at a specified rate for a period of five years from the date of imposition of provisional anti dumping duties i.e. September 20, 2011;

g.            Anti-dumping duty has been imposed on imports of Geogrid /Geostrips/ Geostraps made of polyester or Glass fiber in all its forms (including all widths and lengths) originating in or exported from China at the rate USD 0.55 per square meter for a period of five years from the date of notification i.e. January 24, 2012;

h.             Definitive anti-dumping duty has been imposed on the imports of Coumarin originating in or exported from China at the rate USD 14.02 per kilogram for a period of five years from the date of imposition of provisional anti dumping duties i.e. March 23, 2010;

i.              Anti-dumping duty has been extended upto and inclusive of August 20, 2012 on the imports of all Fully Drawn or Fully Oriented Yarn/Spin Draw Yarn / Flat Yarn of Polyester, originating in, or exported from, Indonesia, Korea PR, Malaysia and Chinese Taipei at the specified rates;

j.              Anti-dumping duty has been extended upto and inclusive of March 27, 2013 on the imports of Flat Base Steel Wheels, originating in, or exported from, China at the rate varying from INR 14710-16970 per metric tonne;

k.             Anti-dumping duty has been extended upto and inclusive of October 07, 2012 on the imports of new/unused pneumatic non radial bias tyres, tubes & flaps with or without tubes and/or flap of rubber, having nominal rim dia code above 16 used in buses and lorries/trucks, originating in, or exported from, China and Thailand at the specified rates;

l.              Anti-dumping duty has been imposed on imports of Phosphoric Acid of all grades and all concentrations (excluding Agriculture/Fertilizer Grade) originating in or exported from Israel and Taiwan at the specified rate for a period of five years from the date of imposition of the provisional anti-dumping duty, that is, 13th January, 2012;

m.           Anti-dumping duty has been extended upto and inclusive of March 18, 2013 on the imports of Peroxosulphates also known as Persulphates, originating in, or exported from, China and Japan at the specified rates;

n.             Anti-dumping duty has been extended upto and inclusive of March 27, 2013 on the imports of Vitamin A Palmitate, originating in, or exported from, China and Switzerland at the specified rates;

o.            Anti-dumping duty has been continued on the imports of Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) originating in, or exported from China, at the rate USD 545.22 per metric tonne for a period of five years applicable from date of notification i.e., May 02, 2012;

p.            Anti-dumping duty has been continued on the imports of Viscose Filament Yarn originating in, or exported from China, at the ad valorem rate of 5.04% -16.90% for a period of five years applicable from date of notification i.e. May 04, 2012;

q.            Provisional assessment of all exports of PVC Flex Film originating in or exported from China has been recommended upon the initiation of a New Shipper Review by M/s Haining Tianfu Wrap Knitting Co Ltd China (Producer) and M/s Manna, Korea RP (Exporter) till the completion of the said review;

r.              Anti-dumping duty has been extended upto and inclusive of April 12, 2013 on the imports of Dry Cell Batteries originating in, or exported from, China at the rate of USD 54.59 per 1000 pieces unless the notification is revoked earlier.
