Hamilton Advokatbyrå’s London practice advises UK companies and law firms on Swedish law, particularly in relation to investments and incorporations. Working closely with colleagues in Stockholm, the London team advises Swedish financial institutions on regulatory issues and licence applications. Christoffer Hamilton is the key contact. In 2010, the firm’s merger with fellow Swedish firm Nilsson & Co Advokatbyrå enhanced its dispute resolution and employment law expertise.

Kromann Reumert represents Danish companies with business interests in the UK, and also advises UK clients on Danish law. The practice is led by corporate law expert Jakob Hans Johansen. The team recently advised BAE Systems plc on acquiring Denmark’s ETI Global.

LOGOS legal services advises Icelandic companies on pan-European matters, and foreign clients on their interests in Iceland. The team acted for Icelandair Group on refinancing matters, and handled a complex debt restructuring for Icelandic Water Holdings. Gudmundur Oddsson is the main contact.

Resident partner Lars Eirik Gåseide Røsås oversees the London office of Advokatfirmaet Thommessen AS, whose core expertise lies in M&A and capital markets. The team often works closely with other Scandinavian firms in the UK, advising Norwegian clients on European matters and UK companies on Norwegian law.

Wikborg Rein’s expert team advises Norwegian and UK clients on offshore contracts and shipping matters, particularly shipbuilding and the sale or purchase of vessels. In 2010, it added three new partners to the team – Simon Tatham, Clare Calnan and Rob Jardine-Brown – and can now provide litigation and alternative dispute resolution services.
