Accura Advokatpartnerselskab has strong experience in advising pension funds on real estate and construction matters. Well-regarded practice head Henrik Groos and Lars Bruun assisted Industriens Pension, PFA and ATP Ejendomme with the lease contract and construction issues regarding a landmark construction project in central Copenhagen. The team includes Jens Christian Lolk and Martin Weber.

Steen Puch Holm-Larsen heads the team at Bech-Bruun, which provides ‘top advice’ on a wide range of matters. Lars Kjær advised Realkredit and Danske Bank as the lenders on the financing of Engholmene Group’s construction of a residential complex. Torben Schøn retired and Kim Nielsen joined Clemens.

Bruun & Hjejle provides ‘sound commercial insight’ on real estate transactions for Danish and international clients. Søren Damgaard led advice to NIAM on its DKK500m purchase of a property in Copenhagen. Team head Christian Schow Madsen often works for pension funds and private equity funds. The ‘extremely fast’ lawyers at Gorrissen Federspiel handle real estate transactions, project development matters and construction disputes. Hans-Peter Jørgensen assisted Coller Capital with its acquisition of a residential portfolio from DNB. Merete Larsen has been advising Carlsberg Byen on all aspects of a major commercial and residential project in central Copenhagen. Peter Sjøgreen heads the practice.

Kromann Reumert’s practice is often instructed on real estate transactions, including sale-and-leasebacks, as well as financings and construction law. Group head Flemming Horn Andersen advised Standard Life Investments on its $212m acquisition and subsequent sale-and-leaseback of Danske Bank’s headquarters. The team includes Niels Balslev and Søren Andreasen.

Among the best in Denmark’, Plesner’s commercial real estate group – which is headed by Jakob Schou Midtgaard – assisted NIAM with a number of acquisitions and divestments. The ‘fantastic’ construction team, which is led by Frants Dalgaard-Knudsen, has been advising Femern on the construction of a tunnel between Denmark and Germany. Leif Djurhuus is recommended.

Client-oriented’ construction boutique Viltoft is ‘knowledgeable’ across all aspects of construction law, including public procurement. Practice co-head Michael Gjedde-Nielsen and Peter Fauerholdt Thommesen have been advising Hovedstadens Letbane on all construction and procurement aspects of the development of the Greater Copenhagen Light Rail project. Steen Hellmann also leads the team.

Horten’s ‘professional’ group often acts on commercial real estate transactions. The practice co-heads are Thomas Krucov Jensen and the ‘extensively experiencedMichael Neumann, the latter of whom advised PensionDanmark on all aspects of its €100m purchase of four commercial properties in Aarhus.

DLA Piper Denmark advises on a wide range of real estate and construction matters, covering PPP projects, litigation and lease law. Practice co-head Henrik Puggaard and Lene Lange have been assisting a consortium with the financing, construction and operation of a new maternity ward at Slagelse Hospital. Kurt Bardeleben also leads the group. Morten Fendinge Olsen joined Holst, Advokater.

Lundgrens primarily handles real estate financings and transactions for domestic and international clients. Group head Niels Gram-Hanssen advised Wihlborgs on its DKK800m sale-and-leaseback of Danske Bank’s headquarters. The team includes Henrik Ott-Ebbesen, who specialises in construction law.

Skau Reipurth & Partnere’s ‘very good’ practice has extensive experience representing clients in construction disputes, contract negotiations and real estate transactions. ‘Sharp’ group co-head Peter Dianati and Anders Hoffmann assisted GVL Entreprise with a number of project development matters. The team was strengthened by Anders Hermansen’s arrival from Bruun & Hjejle and Christian Prophet-Rannow joining from the Danish Construction Association. Jeppe Reipurth is the other co-head.

Mazanti-Andersen Korsø Jensen handles a broad range of real estate and construction matters, extending to project development and financings. Claus Høxbro and Bjarke Sanbeck jointly lead the team, which includes Mette Ravn Steenstrup and Ole Bernt Hasling, who specialise in lease law and construction arbitration, respectively.

Thomas Weitemeyer is a key name in Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen’s team, which primarily advises on transactions. Claus Molbech Bendtsen, founder of family office Bendtsen, is another key contact.

Molt Wengel Advokatpartnerselskab’s ‘very good’ team specialises in handling construction matters for private and public clients, with a particular expertise in public procurement work. Led by Christian Molt Wengel, the team includes ‘very skilled’ PPP specialist Anders Vestergaard Buch.

Headed by Erik Larsson, Njord Law Firm often assists clients with commercial transactions, project development and procurement matters. Martin Hørmann Pallesen was is now in-house and Hans Erik Steffensen joined Dahl Law Firm.

Poul Schmith Law Firm’s team is primarily instructed by public clients on public tenders and disputes. Practice head Kristian Hartlev has been assisting Femern with procurement, contractual and planning issues regarding the construction of the tunnel between Germany and Denmark. The team includes Kasper Mortensen and ‘excellent analystRasmus Holm Hansen.

Headed by Michael Roschmann Skovgaard, Andersen Partners’ practice primarily handles construction litigation and arbitration. Jakob Blicher Ravnsbo has been representing STB Byg in various disputes.

Always on time’, Clemens’ efficient team frequently represents clients in commercial leasing disputes. Simon Langvardt Müller heads the practice, which includes the ‘extremely focused’ Harry Ruby Andreasen.

Delacour advises on commercial transactions and construction matters, including arbitrations. Jakob Nielsen heads the practice and Lars Gregersen has ‘a high level of industry knowledge’.

Elmann’s ‘excellent’ team handles project development and commercial real estate transactions. Kasper Westberg and Peter Mollerup jointly lead the team.

Svejgaard Galst Advokataktieselskab’s ‘strong’ team advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including acquisitions and repossession proceedings. The well-regarded Kristian Dreyer heads the team, which also includes Christian Steen Laursen.

    29-10-2008 - The Danish Ministry for Refugee, Immigration and Integration Affairs has amended the EU Residence Regulations. The amendment is based on the ECJ’s decision in Metock to overturn Irish family reunification provisions.
