Gorrissen Federspiel is commended for ‘high service and integrity’ and handles complex disputes and arbitrations, notably for Vestas, Novo Nordisk and Johnson Controls. Practice head Henrik Lind and Christian Alsøe are representing the former Roskilde Bank in its DKK1bn claim against its former management and auditors. Henriette Gernaa is singled out for praise.

Kromann Reumert’s litigation head Erling Borcher helped DSB obtain a DKK2.25bn settlement from an Italian train supplier. Jens Rostock-Jensen represents Sydbank in the class action brought by the former bankTrelleborg’s minority shareholders. ‘Articulate, results-oriented’ Carsten Raasteen represented Saab group in a case involving the termination of an IT supply agreement. Jens Lund Mosbek wins praise for his ‘thoughtful strategic thinking’. Ulrik Jacobsen, Frank Bøggild and ‘hard working’ Tim Nielsen are recommended.

At Lett Law Firm, Georg Lett, the only Danish member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, is representing Ernst & Young Godkendt Revisionspartnerskab in the DKK1bn Roskilde Bank case. Jesper Lett is chairman of the Danish Institute of Arbitration René Offersen who represents TDC ‘understands public authorities and private companies’; IP litigator Carsten Lorentzen ‘is a brilliant strategist’. Michael Grønbech and Ulrik Christrup both handle insurance cases. State-owned railway company, DSB, is a longstanding client.

Plesner’s ‘particularly good’ 24-lawyer group was instructed by Finansiel Stabilitet to initiate proceedings against EBH Bank. Group head Torben Bondrop has won 11 consecutive Supreme Court cases. Peter Wengler-Jørgensen and Niklas Korsgaard Christensen have ‘great experience and focus’. Certified arbitrator Mikael Rosenmejer is representing a Danish hedge fund in a multi-party class action, while Peter Fogh and Frants Dalgaard-Knudsen handle construction disputes.

At Lind Cadovius, Håkon Djurhuus and Mats Berendt handle real estate disputes; Jess Thierson specialises in tax litigation, and certified arbitrator Nicolai Westergaard handles employment disputes. Martin Lavesen appeared before the Supreme Court in a major trade mark case involving US corporation Broadcom.

Mazanti-Andersen, Korsø Jensen & Partnere undertakes financial and real estate disputes and arbitrations.

At Philip Law Firm, Mogens Gaarden handles bank and financial liability cases and represents agricultural sector clients, and insurance companies including Tryg and Chartis. Employment and professional liability expert Steen Rode represents lawyers and professional advisers.

Torben Steffensen heads Horten’s litigation group, which includes an experienced arbitration team led by Christian Johansen and Finn Schwarz. Jens Jakob Bugge handles patent and trade mark litigation, notably representing Tivoli. Jakob Arrevad represents Greenpeace, and Susie Stærk Ekstrand specialises in food and pharmaceutical cases.
