Accura Advokatpartnerselskab’s four-strong team acts for buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border transactions. Henrik Juul Hansen advised Silverfleet Capital on its €307m divestment of Cimbria to a US-based company. Kåre Stolt assisted CataCap with its acquisition of a 60% stake in construction and property development company Casa. Jacob Vinther and Thomas Weincke are other names to note.

Regarded by clients as being ‘second-to-none’, Bech-Bruun often handles cross-border transactions for domestic and international companies. Jacob Hjortshøj advised Maj Invest and certain minority shareholders as the sellers of SFK Leblanc to Axcel. The ‘very professionalJakob Kristensen assisted Lithuanian transport company Girteka Logistics with its acquisition of a controlling stake in Thermo-Transit. Among the leading firms in corporate and M&A’, Gorrissen Federspiel is led by Klaus Søgaard, who advised Viking Malt on its acquisition of Danish Malting Group from Carlsberg. Clients recommend ‘strong negotiator’ Olaf Carl Ehrenskjöld, who assisted Nets with its acquisition of Storebox. The team also includes Niels Heering. Mikael Philip Schmidt, Charlotte Thornsen and Chantal Pernille Partners were promoted to the partnership in 2017.

Jointly led by Christina Bruun Geertsen and Jens Hyldahl Bjerregaard, Kromann Reumert is experienced in handling transactions across industry sectors as varied as energy, insurance, IT and shipping. Poul Viggo Bartels Petersen was instructed by the sellers on the sale of GPV International to Schouw & Co. Marianne Philip, Henrik Møgelmose and Christian Lundgren are key partners.

Plesner’s ‘efficient’ practice is jointly headed by M&A expert Tue Ravnholt Frandsen; the ‘competent’ Jacob Christensen, who advises on corporate law; and Jacob Ørskov Rasmussen, who specialises in commercial contracts. The group also includes the ‘very experienced’ Thomas Holst Laursen, Christian Kjølbye and Finn Lernø. Clients include DONG Energy, EQT and Pfizer.

Bruun & Hjejle acts for a broad range of Danish clients, counting Maj Invest, A.P. Møller-Mærsk and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners among them. The well-regarded Mogens Ebeling assisted Asmodee with its acquisition of Bergsala Enigma. Andreas Nielsen, Mogens Thorninger and Søren Jørgensen are key names in the team, which was bolstered by Morten Jensen and Jesper Schultz Larsen’s arrival from Accura Advokatpartnerselskab.

Horten was strengthened by the arrival of Henning Aasmul-Olsen from Bruun & Hjejle in 2016. The team often advises on acquisitions for clients such as Polaris, Maj Invest and Discovery Networks. The practice is jointly led by Hans Christian Pape and Jacob Kornerup.

DLA Piper Denmark’s ‘timely’ department is headed by Sebastian Ingversen, who is experienced in handling cross-border transactions. Karsten Pedersen advised Adelis Equity Partners on its acquisition of a number of Danish IT consultancies. Clients recommend Michael Vinther.

Jointly led by Eskil Bielefeldt and Peter Bruun Nikolajsen, Delacour’s practice ‘delivers consistently’. Kristian Tokkesdal assisted Maj Invest as the seller in the sale of a 100% stake in Bramming Plast-Industri. Jesper Trommer Volf joined from Deloitte Denmark.

Lundgrens acts for clients across a broad range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, IT and financial services. Practice head Mads Ilum assisted Serendex with the sale of its entire business to Savara. The team was strengthened by the arrivals of Morten Rosenmejer and Christian Bredtoft Guldmann from Kromann Reumert and Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen, respectively.

Mazanti-Andersen Korsø Jensen has extensive experience of handling transactions with cross-border elements and Frederik Hasling advised the seller on Nianet’s acquisition of Zen Systems. Lars Lüthjohan Jensen heads the team, which also includes Henrik Sanders. Jakob Mosegaard Larsen joined from Nielsen Nørager.

Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen’s ‘proactive’ group is often instructed by private equity clients. ‘Sharp’ practice head Dan Moalem advised Polaris on its acquisition of Configit. The team also includes Thomas Weitemeyer and Lennart Meyer Østenfjeld.

Nielsen Nørager’s group includes Jens Arnesen and Thomas Weisbjerg, both of whom led in assisting Chr. Olesen Group with its divestment of 50% of Chr. Olesen Synthesis to Signet Healthcare Partners. Morten Eldrup-Jørgensen and Claude Winther Nielsen are other names to note.

Andersen Partners’ ‘responsive’ team is led by the ‘very pragmaticHans-Christian Ohrt, who specialises in international acquisition agreements and private equity matters. Clients also recommend company law expert Jon Stefansson. Clients include Kirk Kapital, Hansen Technologies and Blue Equity.

Bird & Bird Advokatpartnerselskab primarily advises on transactions in the IT and life sciences sectors. Casper Moltke-Leth advised Dentsu Aegis Network on its subsidiary’s acquisition of Magnetix. Christian Scherfig heads the team.

Elmann handles transactions for clients in the IT and healthcare sectors, among others. Clients include Aberdeen Property Investors, Alectia and Scanbox Entertainment. The practice co-heads are the ‘dedicatedPeter Mollerup and ‘strong’ lawyer Søren Ingerslev.

Lund Elmer Sandager is often instructed by investors and IT companies, among which are Teradata, Bygghemma and Dustin. Jacob Roesen heads the group.

Magnusson Advokatfirma provides a ‘great service’ in cross-border acquisitions, investments and joint ventures. Group head Nikolaj Juhl Hansen and Anders Worsøe advised Montreal-based company Orckestra on its acquisition of Danish IT services provider Composite. At Njord Law Firm, René Lykke Wethelund assisted Bascon as the seller of its building consultancy firm to COWI. Lars Lokdam and Lars Merrild Hareskov lead the team, which hired Ulrik Fleischer-Michaelsen from Bird & Bird Advokatpartnerselskab and promoted Miriam Michaelsen to partner.

Nordia Advokatfirma’s group is led by Simon Sørensen, whose expertise includes company law and cross-border transactions.

Skau Reipurth & Partnere’s ‘swift and efficient’ team is experienced in assisting domestic and foreign businesses with cross-border transactions, including company and contract law. Led by the ‘extremely skilledPeter Skau-Andersen, the practice also includes Claus Ryberg Hoffmann and Martin Rothe.

Brandt & Lauritzen has a ‘go-to’ team specialising in advising clients in the IT and telecoms sectors under the leadership of Jon Lauritzen. Clients recommend Michael Brandt, who has ‘great business insight’.

Clemens’ ‘strong’ group primarily acts for Danish clients in a wide range of transactions, including mergers, de-mergers and divestments. Tommi Hjelmdal Ahrenholt leads the team.

Dahl Law Firm’s ‘very good’ eight-partner group often acts for clients ranging from IT companies and private equity funds. Clients recommend Henning Von Lillienskjold, who has ‘good business understanding’, with Kim Ricken Jørgensen and Mads Rossen Jakobsen being other names to note.
