Law Office Femil Curt has been very active in the real estate sector in BiH throughout 2008. The firm acted for a developer on the land purchase for a proposed €75m shopping centre and advised a German client in relation to a multi-plant wind farm project valued at €60m. Additionally, the team advised on the construction of a series of polyclinics in RS.

In 2008, Maric Law Office advised on several small real estate deals for domestic and regional clients, including acting for Slovenian supermarket chain Tus on the purchase of several sites. Highlight of the year in real estate was the firm’s appointment to advise the buyer in a multi-million Euro purchase of several hydro-electrical power plants in BiH.

Wolf Theiss has an enviable client list encompassing European and international companies, as well as significant domestic mandates including leading Bosnian supermarket chain Interex. In 2008, the firm acted for Cuubus Real Immobilien and M.O.F. Immobilien on real estate projects in Sarajevo, as well as advising PORR Austria on a development in Mostar. Construction clients included Uniqa Real Estate and Triland Development.

The firm also continued to advise domestic telecoms company JP Hrvatske Telekomunikacije on the building contracts and other issues relating to its construction programme of mobile phone stations and masts.

Attorney at Law Office Spaho working in cooperation with Lansky, Ganzger & Partner GmBH, Austria advised Uniqa Real Estate d.o.o. on the €3m purchase of land from Sarajevska Privara.

Stevan Dimitrijevic Law Office in cooperation with Karanovic & Nikolic acted for Italian investor Atzwanger in the development of a leisure complex in Banja Luka comprising a water park, restaurants and retail outlets.
