Restructuring has been another active area for the team, which is headed by Julie Alexander and includes Bilal Ambikapathy. Harnek Shoker heads the ‘knowledgeable and responsive’ team at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, which is ‘a leader in M&A in Bahrain’. The practice handles reorganisations, joint ventures and public private partnerships, often dealing with international companies.
