Part of the Legal Reimagined Series

Date: 12 September

Venue: One St Peters Square, Manchester M2 3AE

We know from our work to date with General Counsel, that ‘Value Reimagined’ requires an appreciation of the complex interaction between effective delivery of a business’s operational legal requirements together with management of its strategic and risk challenges.

Our Manchester ‘Legal Reimagined’ event will focus on the value proposition for the in-house function, but with a greater focus on reimagining how in-house legal teams manage both the strategic risk challenge at the same time as employing effective delivery outsourcing solutions.

In-house teams of varying sizes face a different set of challenges and have to use their internal legal talent and their budgets wisely to meet the collective needs of the business.

Discussion starts: 6:30pm

Discussion ends: 8pm

Networking ends: 9pm

Food will be served prior to and after the discussion ends.

How we run the events

The Legal 500 and KPMG have been working with the legal executive community to identify, contextualise and frame their key challenges and opportunities. This is an evolving process which will feed the Legal Reimagined pipeline.

The Legal 500 and KPMG in the UK have over the past 6 months been listening to feedback from the in house community and have identified key challenges, business imperatives and opportunities. This approach of listening, creating community and knowledge sharing pre and post event, will underpin each event and will continue inform future topics, formats and actions in the Legal Reimagined programme.

Challenges and opportunities are distilled into topics around which to build Legal Reimagined collaboration events.

Ahead of each discussion event, we will meet with our Advisory Group to get their insight and input on the content agenda for the event. The Advisory Group will help drive the outcome based and solution orientated discussion. As well as sharing best practice and experience, we will also explore ‘what if’ scenarios to stimulate new ideas and solutions.

The events are designed to capture your solution focused insight and to share it back with delegates after the event to facilitate turning ideas into action.
